• Who should enroll?

Organizational leaders, executives and managers, and entrepreneurs. Enrollment may be as an individual or as a group (within the same organization).

  • What makes this approach different from others?

We take a (not so) radically backward approach: we start with what it means to generate value from data, then back into what creates those values. In contrast, most discussions around developing organizational maturity in data and analytics take a prospective approach: taking the premise of the data leading to value forward to the organization. Since it is the value we are after, we “begin with the end in mind” as Stephen Covey said in his book "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People," to ensure that we get there by design rather than by hope.

  • What will I gain from this course?

You will gain a foundational understanding of the following: (1) what it means to be an insight-oriented organization; (2) the organizational infrastructure needed, including roles and functions, organizational structure, governance, and enterprise processes; (3) programs, resources, and skills necessary; (4) the first steps in the implementation of an insight-oriented organization and the challenges that must be addressed for a successful implementation.

  • Are there any prerequisites?

    No.

  • How much material is there?

Approximately 1 hour of bite-size videos organized in sections (total of 15 videos, averaging less than 5 minutes each), plus materials and references. An option that includes with one 60-minute live consultation/Q&A session is available (you can add more later).

  • How long will I have access to the materials?

You will have access to the materials for 365 days from the date of enrollment.
